“Rex is King” is a print of a humorous watercolor portrait of my pet rooster. This print has been produced with archival inks on luxurious velvet fine art paper that mimics the original watercolor paper the portrait was first painted on. Each print is made to order because I hand apply 23Karat Gold Leaf. What is more fitting for a king that gold? Rex is an extraordinary rooster with plenty of moxy. He's the king of the farm and a gentleman. He does what good roosters do. He protects the hens and points out treats to the girls while keeping over all order. He's beloved and truly deserving of a portrait. I couldn't part with the original so I created prints for other farm life lovers. Your print will be lovingly prepared and packaged in a cellophane sleeve as seen in the photos with a chipboard backer. Your painting will be beautifully and carefully wrapped to ensure safe shipping inside a cardboard mailer. This print is sold unframed. The frame in the photo is a prop only. Color may differ slightly from screan to screen, however I find that art in hand is more beautiful and much more dynamic than art on the screen. Please note because each print has gold leaf hand applied and is made to order please allow 3-5 days before it will ship. I will communicate with you when I receive your order and all along the way so you know exactly when your art will be ready and when it will be on its way to YOU!     Your art will be carefully and beautifully wrapped to ensure safe shipping. As far as I can, I use recycled shipping materials and boxes while still providing a delightful experience. Our environment is dear to my heart and process.

    I will notify you that I received your order and again when it ships. You will always receive tracking information so that you can keep an eye on your art.

  • Returns

    I do not do accept returns at this time. I take effort to accurately represent what I sell and do not filter or edit my photos to change or enhance the art. Please do not purchase unless you love it. Please understand that the frames that I choose are vintage or antique and will have signs of age. This is what I think is so beautiful about them. If you are not into the story that patina tells, an antique frame may not be for you. I do want you to be delighted and thrilled with your purchase. If you are not sure about something- just ask! I'm happy to send more photos or measurements. Please feel free to contact me if something arrives damaged, or otherwise not as expected. I will do my very best to communicate with you and make the situation right if I can.
